Normally, I stay away from politics on this blog, but this topic is far too important to ignore. It's a very fitting topic since I advocate the use of technology to improve performance. This applies to the individual, the company and even our country as a whole.
Performance suffers when there are barriers. Our dependence on foreign sources of energy has become a barrier to the prosperity of our country and it will continue to grow in the years to come. A solution can be created now, but the more we wait the less options we will have.
